Human Resources -noun plural: a division of an organization concerned with personnel

Above is the definition of “Human Resources” according to the Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary. This definition is just not going to cut it! Sorry Mr. Merriam, sorry Mr. Webster, but your definition just does not work.

Human Resources are not just a “division” of an organization, they ARE the organization. That is why we here at DailyHRTips.com have created a blog dedicated to providing ALL employees, not just human resources and organization development professionals, with tips, tricks, and ideas to help them make their company’s better places to work. We are equally dedicated to revolutionizing the way in which people commonly think about Human Resources (Boring. Go ahead, you can admit it) and help them to see that Human Resources is cool. That’s right, we said it, cool. And we are going to do this one blog post at a time.

At DailyHRTips.com you will find information to help you improve your organization, but also advice on how to improve your overall work experiences and, in turn, your career.
